HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025: Board unlikely to release today; here’s what we know

In 2025, nearly 1.95 lakh students registered to appear for the Class 10 and 12 board exams.

Meanwhile, this year, the board had to reschedule the Class 12 English paper. Initially set for March 8, it was conducted on March 25 in the second shift, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) had decided to postpone the exam following reports of a suspected paper leak.

To check the results online, students must enter their roll number and other important details as mentioned on the admission card. It is recommended that students handle their concession cards to avoid confusion at the last minute.

According to reports, nearly 85,000 Class 12 students appeared for the exam last year, with an overall pass percentage of 73.76%. This year, a total of 41 students have made it to the top 10 merit lists across the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. Girls have outshone boys, securing around 30 positions in the merit list.

In a press release, the board also mentioned that the brand sheet would initially be available in digital format. Right after the result is declared, paper copies will be distributed by the affected schools. For those students who wish to apply for reassessment or repetition of the response sheet, detailed instructions and deadlines will be given on the board’s website.

Announcement of results will mark an important step in the educational journey to thousands of students across the state, as they prepare their next steps against higher education or professional routes.
