IAS Athar Aamir’s second wife, Mehreen Qazi, may not hail from the Bollywood or fashion industry, but her presence often turns heads wherever she goes.

Athar Aamir Khan is a well-known IAS officer who gained national recognition after securing the second rank in the 2015 UPSC Civil Services Examination. His achievement brought him widespread acclaim, particularly in his home region of Jammu and Kashmir. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Athar’s personal life has also attracted significant media attention.

In 2018, he married Tina Dabi, the topper of the same UPSC batch. Their relationship, which began during their training, garnered much public interest due to their shared journey and unique bond. Born in Kashmir, she is a qualified doctor with an impressive academic background. She holds a Master’s degree in Medicine, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology from the UK, and has also completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine in Denmark.

She has worked as a scientific officer at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in Delhi. Her LinkedIn profile mentions a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Queen Mary University of London and an MD degree from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She also has a UK license and board certification in Internal Medicine. Mehreen is skilled in treating trauma cases and supports both outpatient and inpatient departments in general surgery.

Athar Aamir Khan did not have any children during his marriage to his former wife, Tina Dabi. However, in 2024, he and his current wife, Dr. Mehreen Qazi, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ehaan. Following Tina Dabi’s marriage to IAS officer Dr. Pradeep Gawande in April 2022, Athar announced his engagement to Mehreen just two months later.
