Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to the youth of India for Digital India Startup has inspired numerous projects from India’s young population. These startups primarily address various challenges in India that can be tackled using modern technology.
As part of this movement, Deepak Kumar, a high school senior at KK Inter College in UP’s Meerut has developed an innovative multi-functional anti-accident device that could significantly contribute to saving lives.
In a conversation with Local18, Deepak Kumar provided details about his invention.
Anti-Accident Device
Deepak Kumar has developed a multifunctional device called the Anti-Accident Device, which incorporates various modern nano components programmed in coding language. He claims that this device has six distinct functionalities, with its most crucial feature being a sensor that can instantly detect if the driver has consumed alcohol. Upon detection, the sensor will automatically shut down the vehicle’s engine.
Additionally, the user can input five phone numbers into the device. In the event of an accident or emergency situation, the system will automatically send a message containing the location information to these designated contacts, ensuring that family members are promptly notified. This model was highly praised by many administrative officers in the Divisional Science Exhibition.
Agreement With Atal Innovation
KK Inter College teacher Naresh Kumar, while interacting exclusively with Local18, said that this modern device model has been prepared by the students. It has various sensors installed through which even if a person does not have insurance and other types of documents, a message alert will be sent. Along with this, if someone has weak eyesight up to 2.5, then the glasses installed in it will also adjust it, due to which the chances of an accident will be reduced.
According to Naresh Kumar, an MoU has also been signed with the Atal Innovation Centre operating in Meerut’s MIIT College regarding this model, so that the project can progress in a better way.
