IGNOU Re-registration 2025: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website: ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login.

Step 2: Enter your enrollment number and password.

Step 3: The dashboard of the candidate will open. It will have an option of re-registration.

Step 4: Select the link and select courses, complete the payment.

Step 5: Download the application for future references.

Meanwhile, India’s number one open university (as per NIRF Rankings 2024) has seen an increase in overall registration from 6.73 lakh in 2018-19 to 7.53 lakh in academic session 2023-2024. Unlike regular universities with only one admission cycle (usually July -June), IGNOU has two admission cycles — July and January.
