IHFC, National Association of Entrepreneurship Vietnams collaborate to create thriving startup ecosystem – ET Government

Officials of I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the technology innovation hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi, and the National Association of Entrepreneurship, Vietnam, during the signing of MoU in New Delhi.

New Delhi: I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the technology innovation hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi, and the National Association of Entrepreneurship, Vietnam, have signed an MoU to launch a groundbreaking cooperation program aimed at creating a thriving start-up ecosystem and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.

This collaboration promises to deliver comprehensive support for emerging start-ups, driving innovation, advancing technology transfer, and fuelling transformative growth.

The MoU includes a partnership to foster:

Innovative Training Programs: Cutting-edge initiatives focused on innovation, business leadership, and developing a world-class talent pool for the businesses within our network. IHFC also proposed, in line with their current Co-Innovation Centre program, that IHFC work with Vietnam to identify centers in Vietnam to create Co-Innovation Centers in Vietnam.

Expert Advisory Services: A powerful collaboration to guide corporations, businesses, and local governments in establishing, managing, and optimizing innovation hubs and startup ecosystems.

Strategic Policy Development: Joint efforts to design and implement policies that accelerate the growth of startups, innovative enterprises, and businesses, creating an environment where they can thrive.

Advisory Excellence: Partnering to provide ongoing guidance for the establishment, operation, and evolution of innovation and start-up centers across both nations.

This visionary program will span five years (2025–2030).

The event was attended by A. Dhanalakshmi, Joint Secretary, DST, and the Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Nguyen Thanh Hai and other senior counsellors from the Vietnam National Start-up Association, along with start-up and investor delegations from Vietnam.

Ambassodor Nguyen Thanh Hai said, “Both our countries are uniquely positioned to lead in the digital era, driven by our vision and highly skilled workforce, as well as government policies that support entrepreneurship. This seminar serves as an excellent platform to explore how we can leverage our strengths, share knowledge, and build partnerships that will pave the way for success in the years to come.”
