The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai on Monday, 16 October, held its first ever board meeting after the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) received the IIM status earlier this year.
Overseen by Board of Governors, Chairman Shri Shashi Kiran Shetty, the institute disclosed its fee structure for its various Management programmes.
The institution has established its fee structure at Rs. 21 lakh, slightly under the fees imposed by IIMs in Ahmedabad at Rs. 31.5 lakh, Calcutta at Rs. 31 lakh and Bangalore at Rs. 24.5 lakh. The courses are scheduled to begin in the coming academic year of 2024-25.
Previously, the institute declared that admission to all MBA programs would hinge on the Common Admission Test (CAT). The CAT 2023 examination is planned for November 26, with results expected to be released in the second week of January 2024.
