NEW DELHI: IIT Delhi hosted a group of 170 teachers from various technical institutions across Haryana on February 10-11 as part of a series of visits under the ‘Faculty Exposure Visit’ programme by the state government. Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhandha launched the programme.
The visits, facilitated by the Academic Office at IIT Delhi, enabled the teachers to explore state-of-the-art laboratories and engage in interactive sessions with eminent faculty members from different departments of the institute.
On the first day, 65 faculty members specializing in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Instrumentation & Control visited the laboratories in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi.
On the second day, two cohorts of teachers visited the Computer Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering departments at the Institute.
Teachers were also introduced to training and placement activities at IIT Delhi by the Office of Career Services.
Such visits are in line with IIT Delhi’s endeavor to connect with the larger community, the institute said in a statement.
