NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has announced a series of Open House events for candidates who have qualified the JEE Advanced 2025 examination, offering a platform for aspiring students and their families to engage directly with the institute’s faculty, students, and alumni.
Organized under the ‘Experience IITD‘ initiative by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives, the Open House aims to help students make informed academic choices by providing detailed insights into IIT Delhi’s course offerings, research opportunities, campus life, and career prospects.
In a first, IIT Delhi will conduct the Open House across three major cities—Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru—to ensure greater regional outreach. The schedule includes:
- Online Session – “IIT Delhi Calling” on June 6 at 6:00 PM IST
- Main Hybrid Event at IIT Delhi on June 7 (9:45 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Offline Session at ICT Mumbai on June 7 (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Offline Session at IISc Bengaluru on June 8 (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
The Delhi campus event will feature sessions led by IIT Delhi Director Prof. Rangan Banerjee, along with the Deans of Academics and Student Affairs and the Office of Career Services, offering participants a comprehensive view of the academic environment and placement landscape.A highlight will be the showcase of IIT Delhi’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and a dedicated session on UG admissions at the newly established IITD Abu Dhabi campus. Attendees at the IIT Delhi campus will also experience live demonstrations by student clubs and one-on-one counselling sessions with current students.
