International Scholarship for the Indian Students at Nanjing University

1. China Government Scholarship
The Chinese government establishes this scholarship to support students and scholars worldwide in pursuing studies and research at Chinese universities. Additionally, it aims to foster greater mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and those from other countries.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and must be healthy both physically and mentally. They must have acquired their bachelor’s degree, and should not be older than 35.
Scholarship Amount: RMB 1,700 as a monthly stipend along with tuition waiver, health insurance, free accommodation, and a one-off settlement subsidy of RMB 1,500 for more than one academic year and RMB 1,000 for one semester.
How to Apply: The candidate needs to apply online through laihua.csc.edu.cn. After filling up the form the candidate needs to take a print of it. This application form with a recent photograph along with the original copy of the academic transcripts, certificate of highest qualification degree, two recommendation letters from the advisor or professor of the last school or college, a detailed proposal for study and research study in China, etc. needs to be submitted which shall not be returned.
2. The Distinguished International Students Scholarship
Master’s or Doctoral Scholarship is meant for international applicants who are enrolled by designated Chinese HEIs for higher academic, China 2012.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and must be excellent in academic performance. They must have acquired their bachelor’s degree, and should not be older than 35.
Scholarship Amount: Amount that would cover full academic expenses

3. Chinese Government Scholarship for Graduate Studies
Ministry of Education of P.R. China is offering Chinese Government scholarships to support Chinese universities in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. Applicant must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China be in good health and be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs. The application should be submitted between January and early April.
Eligibility:
Any international candidate who is a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and must be in good health. The candidate should not be a registered student in Chinese universities at the time of application or be a graduate of Chinese universities for more than one year. The candidate must be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
Scholarship Amount: Amount that would cover full academic expenses
How to Apply: International applicants can directly apply to the designated Chinese universities undertaking this program. The recommended candidates must finish the online application procedure at the CSC Online Application System for International Students and must submit the completed Application Form for the Chinese Government Scholarship online and print a hard copy of it. A package of complete application documents must be submitted to the designated Chinese university before the deadline.

- Online Application: Fill out the CGS application form on the official website of the Chinese Government Scholarship.
- NJU Application: Apply directly to Nanjing University through their international students’ application portal.
- Submission on Document: Submit all required documents, including academic transcripts, study plans, recommendation letters, and language proficiency certificate
