The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced a new programme, the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics, from the new academic session. Offline applications for admission to this programme can be submitted until April 11.
This programme is available at the Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CEPS) located at the University’s Dwarka campus. There are 20 seats available in this one-year programme.
The offline application form for admission to this programme is available on the University’s website. A bank draft of Rs 2,500 in favour of the Registrar, IP University, must be submitted along with the application form at the University’s Facility Center by 3 pm on April 11.
Students who have completed BCA, MBBS, BSc, B.Tech (Biotech), etc. can apply for this programme. Admission to this programme will be based on the merit of the entrance exam conducted by the University. After the merit list is exhausted, admission will also be granted based on CUET scores.
The dates for the entrance exam and counseling for admission to this programme will be notified on the University’s two websites. Detailed information is available on the University’s two websites: ipu.admissions.nic.in and ipu.ac.in.
Meanwhile, NTA has released the admit cards for all the CUET PG subjects. Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official website cuetpg.ntaonline.in. In order to obtain their admit cards, candidates are required to log in using their application number, date of birth, and security pin on the CUET PG 2025 portal. CUET PG 2025 started on March 14 and will continue till April 1. NTA had released the admit cards for exams between March 13 and March 25 earlier.
For CUET PG 2025, the NTA has introduced several changes, including an increase in the registration fee, the addition of new exam centers, and an expanded number of exam city choices. From 2025 onwards, candidates will have the option to select four preferred exam cities during registration. Additionally, the exam duration has been reduced for all subjects. Previously, test-takers had 105 minutes to complete 75 questions, but now, the CUET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in 90 minutes.
