What is the ISRO Scientist Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 28 years old as of January 15, 2024. However, relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates.
ISRO Scientist Selection Procedure
The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a written examination and interview. Based on their performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for interviews in the ratio of 1:5, with a minimum of 10 candidates. For reserved vacancies, candidates will be short-listed in the ratio of 1:5, without regard to the reserved candidates, if any, short-listed under UR category
ISRO Scientist Salary
The selected candidates will be placed in pay level 10 of the pay scale of Rs 56,100 – Rs 1,77,500. In addition, Dearness Allowances (DA), House Rent Allowances (HRA) and Transport
Allowances are payable as per existing rules on the subject. The employees will be governed
by the National Pension System. Further, medical facilities for oneself and dependents,
subsidised canteen, quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group
Insurance, housebuilding advances, etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.
