In the recently announced Class 10 results by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), two brothers from Satgawan—a remote block in Jharkhand’s Koderma district—have brought pride to their family and village. Sons of an e-rickshaw driver, Ajit Kumar secured the second rank in the entire district, while his younger brother Amit Kumar topped their block.

Studied Together, Succeeded Together

Ajit, a student of State Sponsored Plus Two High School, Basodih, scored 480 marks (96%), earning him the second position in Koderma. Amit, following close behind, scored 475 marks (95%) to top Satgawan block. The brothers studied together, helping each other grasp tough concepts with ease, making their success a true team effort.

Practice Made Perfect

Ajit credited his success to a year of disciplined study, staying away from distractions like social media. He praised his teachers and highlighted the role of JAC-issued mock tests and model papers in improving his performance. His advice to future students: focus on both the syllabus and regular practice to build confidence.

Family Support, Big Dreams

Their mother, Soni Devi, who runs a small grocery shop, expressed immense pride and affirmed the family’s commitment to supporting their education. Ajit dreams of becoming a government officer to help underserved communities, and Amit shares a similar goal—both motivated by a common vision and the power of shared perseverance.
