This year, in JAC Class 12th Arts stream,  228,959 students registered and 227,222 appeared for the exam. Among them, 107,867 were boys and 104,314 were girls, while 5,091 students appeared for compartmental exams and 1 student failed. A total of 217,273 students passed, achieving an overall pass percentage of 95.62%.

Rajmahal district’s Dev Tiwari has topped the Arts stream, scoring 96.2 per cent. In second position is Prerna Kumari with 94 per cent while Suraj Kumar Das and Kumari Ritwara jointly shares the third position scoring 93.2 per cent.

The JAC Jharkhand Class 12th examination was conducted from February 11 to March 4. The Jharkhand Board 12 exams were held in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

This year, the pass percentage for Commerce students is 91.2%, while 79.26% of Science stream students have passed. A total of 22,204 students had registered for the Jharkhand Board Class 12 Commerce examination, out of which 22,066 appeared. Of those who appeared, 20,285 students successfully passed the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.92%. Among the pass-outs, 12,829 students secured a first division, 7,234 achieved a second division, and 222 students passed with a third division.

Last year, as many as 2,24,502 students were registered in arts. Of them, as many as 2,06,685 students passed the exam, taking the passing percentage at 93.16 per cent. About 40.78 per cent of the total students in arts got first division marks.
