There are only about two weeks till JEE Advanced 2023, so students should feel free of strain and should instead concentrate on revision without wavering.

On June 4, 2023, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 test will be administered at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. It is essential to have a well-structured study plan because JEE Advanced is a very competitive exam for IIT entrance.

The exam admit cards will soon be made available and will be posted on the website.

According to the pattern from previous years, the questions in JEE Advanced tend to be multi-concept based, necessitating not only a strong foundation and knowledge of the subjects but also complete concept clarity, strong analytical skills, a high IQ, better problem-solving abilities, and a high success rate.

JEE Advanced 2023 Last-Minute Tips

Focus on weak areas: Candidates must already have determined their weak spots, and they must relentlessly concentrate on them (across all subjects) during the first week. To do this, at least 10 problems from the previous year’s papers must be solved. All of the thoughts that have been prepared up to this point must be revised during the remaining days.

Give Importance to NCERT Books: Avoid using any other books outside NCERT during your final few days of studying because the new syllabus also makes them more accessible.

Take as many mock exams as you can: In addition to revision, taking a variety of mock exams is crucial to enhancing speed and accuracy in the actual exam. The ability to concentrate is also improved by taking practice exams.

Numerous physics-related topics and ideas have been added. ‘Physical chemistry’ and ‘biochemistry’ topics have undergone some additional revisions, while ‘nuclear chemistry’ has been eliminated from the Chemistry curriculum. With the addition of subjects like statistics, algebra, and quadratic equations, the mathematical concepts of harmonic progression (HP) and triangle solution have been dropped.

The following list includes several crucial subjects with excellent scoring potential for each subject:

Physics: includes optics, electricity and magnetism, kinematics and particle dynamics, fluids, heat and thermodynamics, waves, and sound. It also includes magnetics, electromagnetic induction, optics, and modern physics. Though it covers a sizable amount, mechanics, according to various experts, is the topic with the lowest score. Accordingly, mechanics and electricity & magnetism are the most significant subjects in terms of the volume of queries.

Chemistry: Qualitative Analysis, Coordination Chemistry, and Chemical Bonding in Inorganic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium in Physical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry all come together as a topic with distinct naming reactions in Chemistry. The chapters on electrochemistry, thermodynamics, coordination chemistry, chemical bonding, and surface chemistry should receive extra attention because they are of utmost relevance.

Mathematics: Quadratic Equations & Expressions, Matrices in Algebra, Complex Numbers, Statistics, Probability, Functions, Limits, Continuity, and Differentiability; Circle, Parabola, and Hyperbola in Coordinate Geometry; Vectors and 3D Geometry. The only surefire approach to succeed in maths is to practice problems while keeping in mind the format of the questions used in prior exams.
