JEE Advanced Toppers 2025 List: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the JEE Advanced 2025 results. Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a score of 332 out of 360. Devdutta Majhi emerged as the top female candidate, securing AIR 16.

According to IIT Kanpur, 1,80,422 candidates appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2025, conducted on May 18, 2025. Out of these, 54,378 candidates have qualified, including 9,404 female candidates.
Among the seven zones, IIT Hyderabad recorded the highest number of qualified candidates (12,946), followed by IIT Delhi (11,370).

The JEE Advanced 2025 exam was held on May 18 in two shifts — Paper 1 and Paper 2. As per experts and student feedback, Mathematics was the toughest section, while Physics and Chemistry followed a moderate difficulty level. The response sheet was released on May 22, and the provisional answer key was made available on May 25 at 10 AM.
To be included in the JEE Advanced 2025 Common Rank List (CRL), candidates must score a minimum of 5.83% in each subject and at least 20.56% in aggregate.
In JoSAA Counselling 2025, a total of 17,695 BTech seats are available across all IITs. Last year, only around 1 in 10 candidates secured a seat, reflecting a success rate of just 9.83%.
This year, the overall JEE Advanced cut-off saw a sharp decline—from 109 marks in 2024 to 76 marks in 2025—marking a drop of nearly 30%. The subject-wise cut-off also decreased by approximately 3%.
