JEE Main 2025: NTA Reschedules Exam For Bengaluru Centre Due To Technical Glitch – News18

The NTA has rescheduled the JEE Main-2025 Session-1 for 114 candidates at eTalent Examination Centre in Bengaluru due to a technical snag.

JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the rescheduling of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main-2025, Session-1 for 114 candidates who appeared at the eTalent Examination Centre (TC Code-40086) in Bengaluru on January 22, 2025. The NTA has rescheduled the examination due to a technical snag that occurred during the first shift.

“Due to unavoidable reason of technical snag in Examination Centre – eTalent, (TC code- 40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, during conduct of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-I) Examination on 22 January 2025, the examination for 114 affected candidates are rescheduled,” reads the official notice.

The rescheduled exam will be held on January 28 or January 29, 2025. The affected candidates will receive fresh admit cards along with other candidates appearing on the newly scheduled dates.

Change In Exam Centre In UAE

On Tuesday, the NTA announced a change in the examination centre for candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session-1 in Sharjah, UAE citing the “unavoidable circumstances.”

Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held at Scholars Training Institute, 902-903 Belresheed Tower, 1, NMC Healthcare Building, Buhaira Corniche, Sharjah, UAE (Pincode 4472. However, the new exam centre is – Scholars Training Institute, 1501-1502, The First Tower, Alkhan Street, Al Majaz-3, Sharjah, UAE, with the Pincode 50001.

The JEE Main 2025 Session-1 is being held across various centres in India and 15 international cities. The exam for  Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is scheduled to be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025 in two shifts – from 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and  03:00 P.M. to 06:30 P.M.

Paper 2A (B. Arch) and Paper 2B (B. Planning) will be conducted on January 30, 2025, in a single shift from 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.
