JEE Main 2025 Result (Soon): NTA likely to announce JEE results by tomorrow

NTA JEE Main 2025 Result, Final Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will likely be announcing the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) Session 2 result by April 17. Candidates who appeared for JEE Main Paper 1 (BE, BTech) can check the result at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

This year, NTA conducted the JEE Main session 2 exam on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE, BTech), while Paper 2 (BArch and BPlan) was conducted on April 9. While the result date is written on the information brochure, the time is not mentioned. In the January session, the result was released in the evening. In the previous years, JEE Main results were uploaded late at night.

The NTA has already released the JEE Main 2025 provisional answer keys on April 11 and candidates who were not satisfied with the provisional answers of JEE Main 2025 session 2 paper 1 (BE, BTech) could challenge the JEE Main answer key 2025 by April 13.

Last year, the JEE Main session 2 results were declared on April 24, 2024, while in 2023, the JEE Main paper 1 result was announced on April 29, 2023.

JEE Main Result 2025: ‘Expect high cut-off this year’

Candidates should keep in mind that the result will be compiled based on the final answer key issued on the NTA website. Candidates who rank within the top 2.5 lakh performers in JEE Main 2025 will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. Candidates who appeared for the engineering entrance test this year can expect a rise in the JEE Main cut-off. Besides clearing the JEE Main cut-off 2025, students will also have to qualify the eligibility in their Class 12 board examination, which usually is 75 per cent aggregate for General and OBC and 65 per cent for SC, ST and PwD categories.

In the January session JEE Main 2025 exam, a total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) across different categories and genders. Among them, 4,43,622 were female candidates, with 1,67,790 from the General category, 45,627 from EWS, 42,704 from SC, 13,833 from ST, and 1,73,668 from OBC.
