JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main Exam City Slip 2025 for session 2 this week. The official information bulletin stated that the NTA may release the exam city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 in the second week of March and the JEE Main 2025 admit cards will be made available three days before the exam.
Once the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam City Slip link is activated, candidates will be able to download their exam city intimation slip from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their application number and date of birth.
Steps Download JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam City Slip?
Step 1: Visit the official NTA JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Look for the link to download the Session 2 exam city slip/admit card on the homepage.
Step 3: Log in with your application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Review and download the exam city intimation slip.
The exam city intimation slip will provide candidates with details about their exam centre. The admit card, which will be released closer to the exam date, will include additional crucial information such as the candidate’s name, the address of the exam centre, and other essential instructions.
JEE Main Session 2 Exam Schedule
April 2 to April 7, 2025: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) – 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (First Shift) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Second Shift)
April 8, 2025: Paper 2A (B.Arch) – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Paper 2B (B.Planning) – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
April 9, 2025: Combined Exam for Paper 2A and 2B – 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (First Shift) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Second Shift)
JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main exam for B.E./B.Tech. will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject will be divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
Section A will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), while Section B will contain numerical value-based questions.
Each subject will have 25 questions in total: 20 questions in Section A (MCQs) and 5 questions in Section B (numerical value-based).
The total number of questions in the exam will be 75, and the total maximum marks will be 300.
Marks Distribution:
Mathematics: 20 MCQs + 5 numerical value-based questions (100 marks)
Physics: 20 MCQs + 5 numerical value-based questions (100 marks)
Chemistry: 20 MCQs + 5 numerical value-based questions (100 marks)
Marking Scheme:
Correct Answer: +4 marks
Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
Unanswered/Marked for Review: 0 marks
For questions in Section B, candidates are required to input the correct integer value of the answer using the on-screen virtual numeric keypad. The answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.
Negative marking is applicable for both Section A and Section B for incorrect answers.
