JEE Main session 2 city intimation slip 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for the April session. Candidates appearing for the exam can now check their allotted exam city by visiting the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, and logging into the portal by entering their credentials.
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will be conducted in a computer-based format on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and on April 9 for Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan). Candidates can download their admit cards three days before the exam. While the city intimation slip helps with travel planning, the admit card is mandatory for entry to the exam center.

The admit card and city intimation slip serve different purposes for JEE Main candidates. The city intimation slip provides details about the exam city allotted to a candidate, helping them plan their travel and stay in advance. However, it does not grant entry to the exam hall. In contrast, the admit card is a mandatory document required for appearing in the exam. It includes essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, and exact exam center address. While the city slip is issued earlier for logistical convenience, the admit card is released closer to the exam date and must be carried to the center along with valid ID proof.
