JK Police Constable Result 2024: Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check and download their results from the official website at jkssb.nic.in.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has declared the JK Police Constable Result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check and download their results from the official website at jkssb.nic.in.

Those who have cleared the written exam will next have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or the Physical Standard Test (PST) followed by a medical examination. Those who successfully clear all the rounds will be selected for the posts. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 4,002 vacancies in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Constable positions. A JK Police Constable at Level 2 earns a monthly salary between Rs. 19,900 and Rs. 63,200.

JK Police Constable Result 2024: Steps To Check

Step 1: Visit the official website of JKSSB at jkssb.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Quick Links’ section and select the ‘Results’ tab.

Step 3: Search and click on the ‘JK Police Constable Result 2024’ link

Step 4: A new age will be displayed asking for your roll number and date of birth. Enter the required details

Step 5: The result will appear on the screen. Download and print a copy for future use.

The JK Police Constable written examination was conducted on December 1, 8, and 22, 2024 across several exam centers in Jammu and Kashmir. The answer key was issued on December 3 and candidates were allowed to raise objection between December 9 and 11, 2024. The final result has been released based on the objections raised in the answer key.

The exam was administered offline in an OMR-based format for a duration of two hours. The exam featured 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) consisting of questions from general knowledge, aptitude, and job-specific skills necessary for the posts. According to the marking scheme, each correct answer consists of one mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

To qualify for the post of constable at the JK Police, the candidate must have passed 10th grade from a recognised board. The age limit for unreserved category candidates is 18 to 28 years. The age limit for the reserved category varies.
