JKBoSE Class 12 Revaluation Result 2023 Released, Steps to Download – News18

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) declared the re-valuation result 2023 for Class 12 on September 6. The board has released the results for regular candidates of soft zones as well as hard zones of the Jammu division. Students can now check and download their results by visiting the official website of JKBOSE at jkbose.nic.in.

To access the JKBOSE re-valuation Class 12 result, candidates do not have to login with their credentials on the login window, because the scores have been released in pdf format. The pdf document (result) mentions the candidate’s name, candidate roll number, previous result, and revised result.

As per the data, a total of 5,338 candidates applied for JKBOSE re-valuation in soft zone schools. Out of which, the results of 4,298 students have no changes. Meanwhile, for the hard zone, around 666 submitted applications for re-valuation of results and 552 have no changes in their scores. “Further to the Higher Secondary Part Two examination results, the following roll numbers’ results are amended/revised/declared,” read the official notice.

JKBOSE 12th Re-valuation Result 2023: How to Download

Step 1: Go to the official website of JKBOSE at jkbose.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link provided for ‘revaluation results of soft or hard zone’ under the Jammu division.

Step 3: As a new page opens, a pdf file displaying the result will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Students need to search for their name and roll number to check their result.

Step 5: After checking the status, candidates can download the pdf file.

The JKBOSE began the re-evaluation process of Class 12 exams on June 19, 2023. Students who were not happy with their scores applied for the re-evaluation process on the main website. The last date for filling out the JKBOSE Class 12 re-evaluation application form was July 9.

Candidates had to pay an application fee of Rs 495 for each answer script for the re-evaluation process. Students who scored above 20 per cent marks were allowed to apply while those who could not pass the exam were not eligible to apply for reevaluation. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education declared the Class 12 results on June 9.

The JKBOSE examinations were held from March 11 to May 15, 2023. This year, a total of 1,27,636 candidates had registered for the Class 12 exams. Out of the total, 82,441 of them passed, hence, resulting in a pass percentage of 65 per cent.
