JKPSC 2023 Exam Dates Announced on jkpsc.nic.in, Check Schedule – News18

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the exam dates for the positions of Assistant Professor in medical and other disciplines. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in to check the detailed timetable. As per the official notice, the written examinations for the position of Assistant Professor in various disciplines will be held on Sunday, October 29.

As per the notice, exams for the post of Assistant Professor in Anatomy, ENT, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Venereology, Leprosy, Community Medicine, Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, Anesthesiology, and Dentistry, along with those of Medical Record Officer, Casualty Medical Officer, and Librarian, will be held on Sunday.

The exams scheduled for October 29 will be held in two shifts, from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 4 PM. Later, the written exams for the rest of the disciplines will be conducted on November 3 and 4, respectively. A detailed notification for the same will be issued separately.

The exams for October 29 will be held at various examination halls at the office premises of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission at Solina, Srinagar, and Resham Ghar Colony Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. Admit cards for the written examinations can be accessed on the official website. Those facing difficulty downloading the admit cards can also visit the Commission Office at Jammu or Srinagar on or before October 28 to get their admit cards.

On the other hand, the official notification also informs about a few examinations being postponed, including those for Assistant Professor Rural Training Centre in GMC Handwara/Udhampur, Assistant Professor Rural Training Health Centre, Medical Officer Health-cum-Lecturer in GMC Doda/Baramulla, Assistant Professor Rural Training Health Centre in GMC Rajouri, Assistant Professor Urban Training Health Centre in GMC Baramulla/Kathua, and Assistant Professor Urban Training Health Centre in GMC Udhampur/Handwara/Doda.

This notification comes almost a week after the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission released the answer keys for the JKPSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exams or JKPSC CCE Prelims. The preliminary exams took place on October 15 in two shifts. On the other hand, the commission has also released the result and final answer key for the Judicial Preliminary Exams 2023, announcing that a total of 1,162 candidates have qualified to appear for the Mains, which is scheduled to take place on November 8.
