JKPSC Assistant Engineer Answer Key 2023 Released, Raise Objection by Oct 5 – News18

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) released the initial answer key for the Assistant Engineer (AE) exam on October 2. Those who participated in the exam can find the answer key in PDF format on the official website, jkpsc.nic.in. The written exam took place on the same day, October 2, 2023. The provisional answer keys are now available on the website, and candidates have the opportunity to raise objections regarding them from October 3 to October 5.

Candidates need to keep in mind that the commission won’t accept any objections after 5 pm on October 5. The written exam took place on October 2, from 10 am to noon. JKPSC recruitment drive is aimed at filling 36 positions for Assistant Engineer (Civil) in the Jal Shakti Department. The salary scale for this position is Level 8-A, with a range of Rs 50,700 to Rs 1,60,600. The selection process will involve a written exam and an interview.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned step-by-step process to access and download the JKPSC AE preliminary answer key.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.

Step 2: Click “Written Examination for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department, 2023 – Provisional Answer Key”, available on the homepage.

Step 3: Now, the JKPSC AE answer key PDF will be downloaded automatically on your device.

Step 4: Carefully read the PDF and then fill out the objection form included in the document.

Step 5: Lastly, send it to the specified address.

The official notice by JKPSC reads, “The candidates are advised to refer to Question Booklet (Series A) to match the corresponding question(s) in their respective Question Booklet Series and if any candidate feels that the key to any of the question(s) is/are wrong, he/she may represent on prescribed format/proforma annexed as Annexure-A along with the documentary proof/evidence (hard coples only) and fee of Rs.500/- per question in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of COE (refundable In case of genuine/correct representation) to the Controller of Examinations, Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission, from Tuesday I.e. 03.10.2023 to 05.10.2023. The candidates are further advised to clearly mention the question(s) objected with reference to its serial number as it exists in the Series A of the provisional key.”
