Candidates who participated in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 can check the provisional answer key for their respective courses at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) 2023 MBA, MCA, and MTech (Architecture Engineering) provisional answer key. Candidates who participated in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 can check the provisional answer key for their respective courses through the official website of the KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will soon release the final answer key, after which the merit list and rank list will be published. A separate merit list will be prepared for candidates with valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) scores. Merit will be determined based on the candidate’s performance in the Karnataka PGCET and/or GATE exams.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Answer Key: Steps to Check

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, under the Latest Announcement section, click on the link that says ‘PGCET 2023 PROVISIONAL KEY ANSWER.29/09/2023.’

Step 3: Now choose your respective programme, i.e., MBA, MCA, and MTech.

Step 4: Your Karnataka PGCET answer key will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Cross-check all the answers, and if necessary, download the provisional answer key for further assistance.

In the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test for MBA, candidates will get one mark for each correct answer in Part A (60 questions) and two marks for each accurate response in Part B (20 questions). Similarly, for the PGCET MCA, candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer in Part A (60 questions) and two marks for each correct response in Part B (20 questions).

In the PGCET MTech, one mark will be awarded for a correct answer in Part A (50 questions) and two marks for each correct response in Part B (25 questions). There is no negative marking in any of these exams.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023: Documents Required

Candidates will have to take the following documents along with them at the time of admission:

–– Printed Karnataka PGCET 2023 application form.

–– Copy of the fee challan.

–– Karnataka PGCET Admit card 2023.

–– Mark sheets for Classes 10 and 12.

–– Mark sheets of the qualifying degree for all years and semesters.

–– Degree certificate.

–– Study certificate, duly signed by the Block Education Officer (BEO) for Karnataka candidates.

–– GATE scorecard (if applicable).

–– Category certificate (if applicable).

–– Certificate issued by the relevant Assistant Commissioner for candidates seeking Hyderabad-Karnataka region reservation (if applicable).
