In SSLC exam conducted last year, a total of 8.9 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka Board Class 10 exams. Of them, 4.5 lakh boys and 4.3 lakh girls participated in the annual board exams. The overall pass percentage was 73.40 per cent, which was a decline from 2023’s 83.89 per cent and 2022’s 85.13 per cent. This was also a decline from the pre-pandemic years (2019) when the pass percentage was 73.70 per cent. The Karnataka board Class 10 SSLC result in 2024 was declared on May 9.
