KCET 2023 Second Extended Round Counselling: Candidates have the option to fill in fresh choices, modify existing ones, and delete options by September 22
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the second extended round counselling schedule of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). According to the schedule, the KCET choice filling has already started on the official website of KEA at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates have the option to fill in fresh choices, modify existing ones, and delete options by September 22. They can do so by providing their login credentials like CET roll number and password.
On the other hand, candidates who wish to surrender KCET seats allocated in the first and second rounds can do so till September 21. A refund of Rs 5000 will then be issued to them. The KEA will release the KCET extended round 2 seat allotment results for 2023, determined by the candidates’ selections.
KCET Second Extended Round Counselling: Steps to Fill Fresh Choices
Step 1: Navigate to kea.kar.nic.in, the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Step 2: Under the latest announcement section, locate and click on the link that states ‘KCET Second Extended Round Counselling Choice Filling.’
Step 3: A new window will be displayed where candidates will have to log in using credentials like their CET roll number and password.
Step 4: Once you are logged in, fill in the preferred college selections.
Step 5: Check the filled choices carefully and submit the choice filling form.
Step 6: If required, download the KEA KCET second extended round counselling for your reference.
The KCET second extended round seat allotment result will be announced on September 23 after 8 PM. The payment of fees and downloading of the admission letter will be held from September 25 to 27. The last date for reporting to colleges is September 29 by 5:30 PM.
Candidates will need to carry a few documents on the day of reporting to the assigned colleges. These include KCET application form and admit card, UGCET application fee and payment proof, SSLC (Class 10) mark sheet and pass certificate, 2nd PUC (Class 12) mark sheet and pass certificate, income certificate (if required), caste certificate (if applicable), parent’s study certificate or parent’s hometown certificate, Kannada medium certificate (those candidates who have studied in Kannada medium from class 1 to 10 in the state), and two recent passport-size photographs.
