Kerala Class 12th Result 2025: What is the grading system?

The Kerala Plus Two board examinations were held earlier this year, and as students gear up to access their scores, understanding the grading system is essential. The DHSE uses a grading system to assess student performance. A student scoring between 90 and 100 percent receives an A+ grade, while 80–89% corresponds to an A grade. Marks between 70–79% are awarded a B+, and 60–69% earns a B grade. Students scoring 50–59% are graded C+, and 40–49% receive a C. A score between 30 and 39% is considered a D+, which is the minimum passing grade. Any score below 30% is marked as a D or E, which is categorized as a fail.

Students must note that the digital mark sheet provided on the day of the result will be provisional, and students are advised to save a copy for reference until they receive their official documents from their respective schools. Further updates regarding re-evaluation, supplementary exams, and admissions to higher education institutions will be available soon on the DHSE website.
