Kerala SSLC Exam 2024: Students who are eligible and are willing to appear for the exams can check the official timetable on the website at pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in

The Kerala Department of Public Education has released the THSLC and SSLC exam schedule for the March 2024 session. Students who are eligible and are willing to appear for the exams can check the official timetable on the website at pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in.

As per the exam schedule released by the department, the SSLC (Hearing Impaired) exam will be held between March 4 and 22. The main SSLC exams will start on March 4 and conclude on March 25. The exams will commence at 9.30 am and end at 11.15 am and 12.15 pm, respectively.

English — March 6

Mathematics — March 11

First language part 2 — March 13

Physics — March 15

Hindi, General Knowledge — March 18

Chemistry — March 20

Biology — March 22

Social Science — March 25

School-going candidates need not apply for the SSLC exam separately. Those belonging to other categories have to submit a separate application if they wish to appear for the SSLC exams. The exam fee for school-going candidates is Rs 30, private category candidates have to pay Rs 20 per paper, while the fee for candidates belonging to the betterment of results section is Rs 200. The penalty for late submission of the application form is Rs 10. SC, ST, and students belonging to below poverty lines need not submit any application forms.

In 2023, as many as 99.70 per cent of students who took the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate or SSLC class 10th board exam cleared it. A total of 4,19,120 students appeared for the exam out of which 68604 students have secured A+ grades. This is a rise from last year when 44363 students secured A+ grade. A total of 4,17,864 students cleared the exams this year. The exam was held from March 9 to March 29.

In the last 8 years, the Kerala board has achieved a pass percentage of over 95 per cent. The board recorded a pass percentage of 99.47 per cent in 2021, and 99.26 per cent in 2022. The results have been better than the Covid pre-pandemic time.
