KVS Class 2-12 Admission 2025 Apply Online: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatha (KVS) has started the offline admissions for all grade between classses 2 to 10 and 12, and Balvatika-2. The offline registration, and form submission process began on April 2, and will go on till April 11, 2025.
Parents and guardians applying for their ward’s admission to Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) must submit the duly filled application forms offline at their respective schools between 10 am to 4 pm.
According to the admission schedule, the first provisional selection list will be announced on April 17, with admission processs from April 18 to 21.
KVS Admission 2025: Important dates
The registration process for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 was completed in March 2025. The lottery results for Class 1 were announced on March 27, 2025, while the first provisional lists for Balvatika-1 and Balvatika-3 have already been made available on the official portal at balvatika.kvs.gov.in. The second provisional list for these categories is expected to be released today.

KVS Admission 2025: What is the age criteria for Balvatika admissions
As per the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) admission guidelines, the age criteria for Balvatika classes are strictly defined, with Balvatika-1 requiring children to be between 3 to 4 years old, Balvatika-2 between 4 to 5 years old, and Balvatika-3 between 5 to 6 years old, all calculated as of March 31, 2025. For admissions into Class 2 and beyond, the minimum age requirement increases progressively, starting from 6 to 8 years for Class 2, ensuring a structured and age-appropriate enrollment process across all levels.

Parents and guardians applying for their child’s admission must note that the final date for admissions to all classes (except class 11) is June 30, 2025. However, if seats remain available, respective Deputy Commissioners in the region may extend admissions until July 31, ensuring that class strength does not exceed 40 students per section.
