Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the HSC Class 12 Results on May 5. The results link will be activated at 1 PM. For the first time, HSC results have been announced in the first week of May. To ensure students have sufficient time for higher education admissions — including appearing for various entrance exams after Class 12 — the Maharashtra State Board scheduled the HSC examinations earlier than usual.

The HSC examinations, with over 15 lakh registered candidates, began on February 11. The exams were held across nine divisions — Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur, Amravati, Kolhapur, and Konkan. This year, stringent measures were implemented to prevent instances of copying and ensure the integrity of the examination process.
In 2024, the MSBSHSE board declared the HSC Class 12 results on May 21. The board Class 12 exams were held between February 21 and March 19. The overall pass percentage in HSC Class 12 was 93.37 per cent. A total of 14,33,371 students had registered; out of this 14,23,970 appeared for the exams, and 13,29,684 passed the exams.
The pass percentage had witnessed an improvement from 2023. In 2023, the pass percentage was 91.25 per cent. It was a positive sign as in 2023, the overall pass percentage had witnessed a decrease from 94.22 per cent in 2022. Girl students had performed better than the boys. The passing percentage for the girls was 95.44 per cent while for boys it stood at 91.60 per cent.
Division wise the Konkan division had maintained its dominance with the best pass percentage of 97.51 per cent. Mumbai had the lowest among all which was 91.95 per cent.
