Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2025: The School Education and Sports Department of Maharashtra has started accepting applications for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions for 2025. The registration process, originally scheduled to begin on May 21, commenced on May 26, 2025. Students seeking admission to Class 11 can apply online at mahafyjcadmissions.in until June 3, 2025.

The provisional general merit list will be released on June 5, 2025. Students will be allowed to submit objections or request corrections to the list between June 6 and June 7. The final general merit list is scheduled to be published on June 8.

Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2025: Seat Distribution

This year, admissions for Maharashtra FYJC are being conducted for a total of 20.43 lakh seats across 9,281 junior colleges. These seats are distributed among three primary academic streams. The Science stream has the highest number of seats with 8,52,206, followed by the Arts stream with 6,50,682 seats, and the Commerce stream offering 5,40,312 seats.
