A printing error is reported in the Maharashtra HSC English question paper conducted on Tuesday, 21 February 2023.
An official of the board said it was a “printing error” and necessary action will be taken “in the students’ interest”.
According to the reports, the HSC English paper printed with answers worth six marks. These answers were basically part of the model answer sheet, which is used as a reference point for the paper valuation.
As per the notification issued by the Board on February 21, 2023, three errors were found in the Class 12 English paper. A meeting, which was scheduled to be held for discussing the error and to take a decision on it could not take place due to a ‘boycott’ called by the teacher organisation.
According to the reports, Maharashtra Board Secretary Anuradha Oak has stated that the issue can be decided only in the meeting of the Board of Studies in English and Chief Moderators of all divisions. She further said that once the experts meet the board will come to know about the issue and will take a decision accordingly.
