As per reports, he had cleared the prelims exam for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Computer Science Engineering 7 times but failed to get through the mains exam 6 times. During his 7th attempt at the UPSC CSE, he also tried to attempt the IFS exam for the second time. Finally, he was able to clear the IFS 2022 exam, even though he couldn’t make it through the UPSC CSE mains. Bhuvaneswar had no backup plans, in case he could not succeed in his UPSC or the IFS exams. He had to go through a lot of stress as well during all these years, but he stood firm on his dream and continued with his efforts. Nara Bhuvaneswar Babu hails from Madanapalle City in the Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh. He is the only child of his parents, who work as teachers. He completed his schooling in his hometown till class 12th. He started preparing for the civil services exam after completing his Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering. He received this degree from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, in 2015.
Bhuvaneswar opened up with the Indian Masterminds portal about his failures during the UPSC exam preparation and said, “The reason behind my continuous failure in Mains was not paying much attention to answer writing. It was a big mistake that kept me away from success for many years.” Bhuvaneswar also has a message for the UPSC aspirants and said that the competition has gone up a lot. Due to this, he said that the participants seriously need to make a good effort. He said that the aspirants should not waste their time like he did in the initial days of his preparation.
