MHT CET 2025 Re-Exam: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct a re-exam for the MHT CET 2025 on May 5, 2025. The decision comes after the CET cell received multiple complaints about nearly 20 questions that appeared in the April 27 morning session test for Mathematics subject.

CET Cell Commissioner Dilip Sardesai admitted the errors in the question paper and said that this occurred due to a technical glitch during translation from Marathi to English language. Apart from errors in translation, the options of the questions were jumbled up, which led to no correct answer in the given four options for the questions.

The Cell noted that the errors occurred only for the candidates who opted for the English language for the examination which affected 24,744 examinees. A re-exam will now be held on May 5 for all the students who opted for the English language in the exam to ensure fairness.

The re-exam will be held for the complete MHT CET exam for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) subjects for the affected students. The students will receive fresh admit cards and details about exam centres via SMS and email.

MHT CET PCM Exam Pattern

Mathematics: This subject comprises 10 questions from Class 10th and 40 questions from Class 12th. Each question carries two marks, accumulating a total of 100 marks.

Physics and Chemistry: Both Physics and Chemistry subjects follow a similar pattern. Each of these includes 10 questions from Class 10th topics and 40 questions from Class 12th topics. Each question in Physics and Chemistry carries one mark, resulting in a cumulative total of 100 marks for each subject. There will be no negative marking in the MHT CET.
