MoU signed between ICAR-NRRI and IFFCO – Times of India

PUNE: A memorandum of understanding was recently signed between ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI) and Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) at ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack for evaluation of Nano- DAP with respect to P and N nutrition and yield of rice through contract research project.
Dr Amaresh Kumar Nayak Director ICAR-NRRI and S.K. Chatterjee, State Marketing manager, IFFCO Ltd signed the MOU on behalf of ICAR-NRRI and IFFCO Ltd, respectively.
Nano-DAP, is the second nano technology based fertilizer material after nano- Urea which is going to be released by IFFCO. The proposed trials at ICAR-NRRI will help in devising nano-DAP based fertilizer recommendation for rice.
