Today, we bring you the NCERT solutions of the class 9 mathematics book. Maths is a core subject in class 9 and lays the foundation for the more advanced topics taught in higher classes. It’s essential for all students to learn the basic mathematical concepts of class 9.
A main feature of the NCERT math book is the topic-wise exercises. These help students learn maths in a systematized manner. The second chapter in the Class 9 NCERT book is Polynomials, and it is among the most important, but basic math concepts. However, it still requires consistent practice from students.
As per the rationalized syllabus, there are a total of 4 individual exercises in Class 9 Maths Chapter 2. One exercise and topic (remainder theorem) were deleted. The exercise 2.4 class 9 Maths NCERT solutions are given below.
NCERT Solutions for Class 9 Maths Exercise 2.4
Ever since the re-introduction of the board exams in Class 10 and the New Education Policy, the CBSE and NCERT have made a lot of changes in the curriculum. The format of questions, answer key, learning method, and a few topics have been modified. In Class 9 Maths Chapter 2 Polynomials, exercise 2.3 (previously) based on the concept of remainder theorem was removed.
So, now the following exercise has taken its place. Only refer to the new NCERT books for studying. We have attached the links to the latest NCERT books at the end of the article.
Polynomials is the Chapter 2 of the NCERT mathematics book and deals with the following sub-topics:

- Zeroes of a Polynomial
- Factorisation of Polynomials
- Algebraic Identities
