The NEET aspirants are seeking postponement of the exam for a period of three months in view of the disturbance caused to the academic calendar and studies of the graduate medical students in the last couple of years.
While addressing this matter in Lok Sabha, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya clarified that the NEET PG 2023 examination will be conducted as per the original schedule i.e., March 05, 2023.
“On March 5, the exam has to be held and this was announced five months ago. Those students, who have to appear in the entrance test, are already preparing,” Mandaviya said in Lok Sabha.
He further added, “Earlier exams were delayed by 7-8 months and later by four months. If I keep on delaying, such a situation will come.”
