NEET UG 2025: The NTA will closes the objection window today to chalenge provisional answer key on June 5. Candidates must submit objections by 11:50 PM on neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key today, June 5, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) and wish to raise objections against the provisional answer key must do so by visiting the official website – neet.nta.nic.in, by 11:50 PM tonight.

To challenge the NEET UG 2025 answer key, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question. Similarly, if candidates want to contest the recorded responses, a fee of Rs 200 per question must also be paid.

NEET UG 2025: Steps To Raise Objection Against Answer Key

Step 1: Go to the official NTA NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that reads “Answer Key Challenge for NEET (UG) – 2025.”

Step 3: Log in using your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.

Step 4: Click on the “Key Challenge” tab to view the questions along with the answers marked by the NTA.

Step 5: Select the question(s) you wish to challenge and choose your version of the correct answer.

Step 6: Upload valid supporting documents or explanations in PDF format, if necessary, to support your claim.

Step 7: Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question challenged through the available payment gateway.

Step 8: Once the payment is successful, download and save the confirmation slip for future reference.

Once the objection window closes, a panel of subject experts will carefully examine all the submitted challenges. If any challenge is found to be valid, the Provisional Answer Key will be revised accordingly. The final answer key, incorporating all accepted changes, will then be published. This final key will serve as the basis for evaluating the responses and preparing the NEET UG 2025 result.

How To Calculate Your NEET UG 2025 Score

Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Questions left unanswered will not affect the score.

Use this formula to calculate your estimated NEET score: Estimated Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) – (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1)

The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses. The result for NEET UG 2025 is tentatively scheduled to be announced on June 14, 2025. NEET UG 2025 Results will be declared online on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
