The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted on May 4 which was taken by more than 20 lakh candidates this time. The NTA released the NEET UG Provisional Answer Key 2025 along with the OMR sheets today. Candidate are allowed to raise objection, if any, to the answer key by June 5. After the objection window closes, NTA will cross check the same and release the final answer key and results based on the challenges raised.
As per the official information brochure, NEET UG 2025 result can be expected to be declared on June 14, 2025. However, it must be noted there are some court cases such as demand for re-test at Indore and Ujjain centres in Madhya Pradesh High Court. To keep track in the latest updates related to NEET UG 2025, candidates who appeared in the exam can check the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG Result 2025: How To Check?
Step 1 – To check NEET UG 2025 result, visit the official websites at neet.nta.nic.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Step 2 – Click on ‘NEET UG 2025 Result’ link on the homepage.
Step 3 – Enter the required login details: Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin.
Step 4 – The result and merit list will appear on the screen.
Step 5 – Download the scorecard and take a printout for future use.
The marks required to pass NEET UG 2025 depend on the cut-off, which is determined based on percentile. The NEET UG exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks. Due to the trend of previous years and the difficulty of the exam this year, the cut-off is expected to decrease slightly.
According to the marking scheme, for every correct response, the students will be awarded with four marks and for every wrong attempt, one mark will be deducted.
After NEET UG Result 2025, counseling will start from July 2025. MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) will conduct counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and state governments will conduct counseling for 85% state quota.
