NEET UG 2025: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate Courses (NEET-UG) 2025 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, May 4, 2025. Over 20 lakh candidates are set to appear for the medical entrance exam. As students gear up for the big day, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a detailed list of exam day guidelines, including strict instructions on the dress code, reporting time, and prohibited items at the exam centres.
NEET UG 2025: Reporting Time and Entry Guidelines
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The test will be held in pen-and-paper mode.
Candidates must ensure they reach their examination centre well before the last entry time, which is 1:30 PM. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances. Students are advised to factor in travel time, weather conditions, and potential traffic delays when planning their journey.
NEET UG 2025: Documents to Carry
Candidates must carry only the following items to the exam centre:
- Admit Card with a passport-size photo affixed
- One passport-size photo (to be pasted on the attendance sheet)
- Valid original photo ID proof
- PwBD certificate (if applicable)
- A postcard-size (4″x6″) colour photograph with a white background, pasted on the proforma downloaded with the admit card
NEET UG 2025: Barred Items
The NTA has made it clear that no arrangements will be made to store personal belongings at the centres. The following items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall:
- Textual material, calculators, writing pads, log tables, electronic pens/scanners, or any study material
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, fitness bands
- Wallets, handbags, goggles, belts, caps, watches, bracelets, or cameras
- Food items (opened or packed), water bottles
- Any metallic items or ornaments
- Any object that could conceal a communication device (like microchips or spy cameras)
Candidates wearing articles of faith or cultural/religious attire must report at least two hours before the last reporting time to allow sufficient time for security checks. If any prohibited device is found within such attire, entry may be denied.
NEET UG 2025: Dress CodeĀ
To maintain exam integrity and ensure smooth frisking, the following dress code must be followed:
Avoid heavy clothing or long sleeves. Candidates in customary or religious attire should arrive by 12:30 PM for proper checking.
Slippers or sandals with low heels are allowed. Shoes are not permitted.
Any deviation due to medical or other serious reasons requires prior approval from NTA.
