Several government medical colleges in UP offer MBBS seats with relatively higher NEET cutoff ranks, increasing the chances for local candidates to gain admission. One such institution is the Government Medical College and Super Facility Hospital (GMC), Azamgarh, which has gained attention for its affordability and accessibility.

100 MBBS Seats With 85% Reserved For UP Students

The college offers 100 MBBS seats, of which 15 are reserved under the All India Quota (AIQ) and 85 under the State Quota. This opens up opportunities for students from nearby districts such as Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, and Varanasi to pursue medical education close to home.
