NEET UG Result 2025: Candidates who appeared for the exam can stay updated with the latest information related to NEET UG 2025 by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG Result 2025: The NEET UG 2025 exam was held on May 4, with over 20 lakh candidates appearing this year. According to the official information brochure, the NEET UG 2025 results are expected to be announced on June 14, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the results by visiting the official website at neet.nta.nic.in, once out.
The cut off marks for admission to medical colleges will also be released along with the results. Due to the trend of previous years and the difficulty of this year’s exam, the cut-off is expected to decrease slightly.
The cutoff of NEET exam last year was quite high. The cutoff for General and EWS categories in 2024 was 162 marks. If we look at it in percentage, then the NEET exam is of total 720 marks, out of which those who got 162 marks, that is, 22.5 per cent marks were considered qualified. At the same time, the cutoff of OBC, SC-ST was 127 marks, that is, 17.64 per cent. In 2022, the cutoff was quite low. The qualifying marks for General and EWS category candidates were 177, that is, 16.25 per cent. Similarly, the qualifying marks for OBC, SC, ST category was 93, that is, 12.92 per cent.
NEET UG Result 2025: Where & How To Check?
Step 1 – To check NEET UG 2025 result, visit the official websites at neet.nta.nic.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Step 2 – Click on ‘NEET UG 2025 Result’ link on the homepage.
Step 3 – Enter the required login details: Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin.
Step 4 – The result and merit list will appear on the screen.
Step 5 – Download the scorecard and take a printout for future use.
The marks required to pass NEET UG 2025 depend on the cut-off, which is based on percentile. The NEET UG exam is conducted for a total of 720 marks. According to the marking scheme, students will be awarded four marks for every correct response, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
After the NEET UG Result 2025, counseling will start in July 2025. MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will conduct counseling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), while state governments will conduct counseling for the 85% state quota.
