New managing committee of IIA Punjab Chapter announced – Times of India

Ludhiana: General Body Meet of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Punjab Chapter was organised by IIA Ludhiana Centre. During this meeting new office bearers of the managing committee were elected through consensus. The new committee will serve a term of two years leading the chapter in its mission to promote excellence in architecture and uphold the highest professional standards. The program was presided over by Balbir Bagga.
According to a statement released by IIA, “The newly elected office bearers include Chairman Prithpal Singh Aluwalia , Vice Chairman Dinesh Bhagat, Honrary Secretary Rajan Tangri. Members of the Executive Committee include Sanjay Kumar, Rajneesh walia, Inderjit Singh gill, Pappal Saneja, Randeep Singh, Vivek Sehgal, Amrita Kapoor, Avneet , Indu Arora while those elected as Co-opts include Geetanjali and Randeep Kaur. The new body is committed to furthering the architectural profession, fostering collaboration within the industry, and promoting sustainable design practices throughout the Punjab region”
Statement also added, “As an organization, IIA is focused on providing opportunities for professional development, continuing education, and networking to our esteemed members. Through various initiatives, seminars, workshops, and design competitions, we aim to inspire creativity and innovation among architects, while also addressing the emerging challenges and opportunities in the field”
Outgoing Chairman Sanjay Goel, Nitin Batra, Anmol Garg, Paramjit Singh, Sanjay Sharma , Surinder Baaga , Jit kumar Gupta etc were amongst those present in this meeting.
