North Western Railway Apprenticeship Eligibility and Age Limit?

The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.

Educational Qualification: 

The candidate must have passed the 10th grade examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board and also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as of February 10, 2024. However, relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates.

North Western Railway Apprenticeship Selection Procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list prepared by the panel. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of the percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done.

North Western Railway Apprenticeship Salary

The selected candidates stipend and the training period will be decided on the basis of rules and directives issued by the Railway Board from time to time.
