Students protest at Osmania University after allegedly finding a razor blade in a curry served at the hostel mess during dinner.

Students at Osmania University protested on Tuesday night after a razor blade was allegedly found in a curry served at the New Godavari hostel mess. They blocked the main road, holding up the curry and a plate while shouting slogans against the administration.

The students demanded that Vice-Chancellor Prof M Kumar address their concerns, as this was not the first time foreign objects had been found in the food. They claimed there had been earlier incidents where worms and glass pieces were found in meals. Just two days ago, they alleged, worms were seen in the cabbage curry served at the mess.
