Every year, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) administers the yearly Board exams for Primary Classes 5 and 8. The Class 5 Board exam was held offline at several exam centres from 25 February to 4 March 2023 for the term 2022-23. The Punjab School Education Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 5 results for April 06, 2023. The results were announced in a press conference virtually by Dr. Virinder Bhatia, vice chairperson of the Punjab School Education Board.
This year, the percentage of students for Punjab government schools is 99.69%, while it is 99.07% for aided schools. Girls outperformed boys this year, with girls scoring 99.74% and boys scoring 99.65% overall pass percentage. Jaspreet Kaur of Mansa is the top student in Punjab, with a high score of 500 out of 500. Navdeep Kaur of Mansa is second in the state, and she also received 500 marks.
