PSEB class 8 result 2025: How did students perform last year?
In 2024, a total of 2,91,917 students appeared for the Punjab Board class 8 exams, out of which 2,86,987 successfully passed, recording an overall pass percentage of 98.31%. The performance of girls was slightly higher, with a pass percentage of 98.83%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 97.84%.
Looking at previous years, the PSEB Class 8th result for 2023 was announced on April 28. The school-wise pass percentages in 2023 showed that government schools recorded an overall pass rate of 97.88%, while non-government schools had a higher success rate of 99.12%. Aided schools had a slightly lower pass percentage of 94.44%.
The Punjab Board also announces the list of toppers along with the Class 8 results. In 2024, Harnoorpreet Kaur secured the top rank with a perfect score of 100%. Gurleen Kaur followed with 99.67%, while Armandeep Singh scored 99.5%.
PSEB class 8 result 2025: What details should candidates verify on their marksheet?
The PSEB Class 8th result contains crucial information regarding the student’s academic performance and personal details. The result includes the student’s name, roll number, board name, class, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, school and district details, and category.

Additionally, it provides subject-wise marks, total aggregate marks, grade, and the final qualifying status (Pass/Fail).
