Board Exams 2023: Get Exam Results updates, Date Sheet, Syllabus, Time table of CBSE and State Board Exams | Hindustan Times
Punjab School Education Board has announced the PSEB class 8th examination on April 28, at 2:30 pm. Students who have appeared for Class 8 board exams in the state can check the results through the official site of PSEB at pseb.ac.in. This year around 3 lakh candidates have registered for PSEB Class 8 exam. Lovepreet Kaur topped the PSEB class 8th examination. Gurankit Kaur secured the second position and Simranpreet Kaur secured the third position. The overall pass percentage this year is 98.01%.
Lovepreet and Gurankit Kaur both are from Government Girls’ Sr secondary school at Budhlada in Mansa district. The third topper Samarpreet Kaur, is from Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School Bassian Ludhiana.
Manpreet Singh from Barnala topped the PSEB class 8th exam last year. Himani from Hoshiarpur, took second place and Karmanpreet Kaur from Nawan Tanel secured third position. In 2022, girls outperformed boys with an average pass percentage of 98.70% compared to boys’ 97.86%. The overall pass percentage was 98.25 % last year.
