Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: The Punjab Police has released the official recruitment notification for Constables in both the District Police Cadre and the Armed Police Cadre. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025 online through the official website – punjabpolice.gov.in, starting from February 21, 2025, until March 13, 2025.

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details

A total of 1,746 vacancies are available for the Punjab Police Constable recruitment. Of these, 1,261 positions are for Constables in the District Police Cadre, while 485 posts are allocated for Constables in the Armed Police Cadre.

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Applicants should have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board or university. However, ex-servicemen are eligible with a minimum qualification of matriculation. Additionally, candidates must have studied Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Punjab government.

Age Limit: The age of applicants must be between 18 to 28 years as of the specified date. Age relaxation will be provided in accordance with government regulations for certain categories.

Physical Standards: Applicants must meet the following physical standards

Male Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm)

Female Candidates: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm)

Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection process will consist of three stages:

Stage I: The first stage will involve two Computer Based Tests (CBT), both multiple-choice question (MCQ) papers—Paper-I and Paper-II. Please note that Paper-II will be qualifying in nature.

Stage II: The second stage will include a Physical Screening Test (PST) and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), both of which are qualifying in nature.

Stage III: The final stage will consist of Document Scrutiny.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Pay Scale

The selected candidates for the Constable post will receive a pay scale of ₹19,900 per month. Additionally, a minimum pay of ₹19,900 will be admissible for the first three years from the date of joining the service.
