Punjab School Timing: Govt announces new school timings for upcoming academic session

Sharing this information, the Director SCERT, Punjab, Ms Amaninder Kaur Brar, said that a letter has already been issued in this regard, directing all the district education officers to ensure compliance with the new timing in all the primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools in the state.

Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will soon release the results for Class 5th and 8th. The examination for Class 5th was held between March 7 and 13 in a single shift from 9 am to noon.

Students who appeared for the examination can check the results at pseb.ac.in. To check the PSEB Class 5 results, students will need to check using login credentials like roll number and date of birth in the result login window.

PSEB recorded an overall pass percentage of 98.31 percent for Class 8th. Girls had a pass percent of 98.83 per cent while that of boys is 97.84 per cent in 2024.

PSEB Class 5th, 8th Results 2025: Steps to check

1. Go to the official Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) website at pseb.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘Results’ tab.
3. Select the link for Punjab Board Class 5th, 8h Result 2025.
4. Enter your roll number and date of birth in the required fields.
5. Your result will appear on the screen.
6. Download and print a copy for future reference.

After downloading the Punjab Board Class 5th, 8th scorecard, students are advised to carefully review all the details it contains. The PSEB 5th, 8th class scorecard will include important information such as the student’s full name, roll number, parent’s name, school name, total score, and marks for each subject.
